Auto-markup for new threads In the list, if there is any new or updated thread, it will be added to your unread stack automatically unless you have already read it. If the mark ^ means that the thread is only updated by a nested post, while * means it is new with normal replies.
Threads on stack After any reload of the page, and when a thread is already added to the stack, it will be marked up as "marked" until you read it, and then it will be cleared from the stack.
White time stamp indicates the time elapsed since the last reply to the thread. If there is no reply for that thread, it refers to the starting time of the thread.

Batman: the Dark Knight By Night Angel (Iridescent Webmaster) . 2 months ago
Wow, this is a really really great movie! Watched it tonight and I have to say, this is a very well-done movie. Heath Ledger did a good job and showed the true dark side of the Joker, making this the craziest and scariest villain so far.
One thing I have to say is the how the movie reveals the psychological tension between the characters. It shows how people are turned to bad guys, and everything is a result of many things, interconnecting with each other. It is not just about bad guys being beaten by Batman. There are struggles while some people are forced to be bad guys because of timing or so-called self-righteousness.
A very well-done movie, really deserve a big A . At the same time, I salute to Heath. R.I.P.

Sounds like a really good film, the ads look really cool! And yes, I heard Heath Ledger did an absolutely outstanding job of playing the Joker...which i'm not sure actually benefitted him though.
I heard that for him to play the role of the Joker he actually did such in depth research into actual psychopaths, like reading about their psychological problems, watching video footage of them, learning and imitating how they act, things like that. He actually had to get into the mindset of a proper psychopath, which I heard is what lead him to depression...
I'm not sure if this is true or not but it does make sense.

You are right. I am not sure if he killed himself because of that (but if so, very convincing still), but he did read a lot and try so hard to learn all the characters and thinking, and finally he was really in that Joker character, and he played so well that he was like being turned into another person.
Now that's called professional, regardless of its deadliness.

And also, reports said that when he started to read and research into the character, he stayed in a hotel in NYC for a month, all alone, trying to be in that character. Wow...I don't think I have any more thing to say!

Yeah. I heard he died too. Really have to salute him. I heard from my friend that he stayed in a hotel in NYC all alone. A pro does what a pro does. Salute him.

I know that already from the news. However, I am not sure if that is connected with his play in Batman. I can only say, if it is found that Ledger cannot get out of the character after the movie and so he killed himself, I would really believe in that. He just played the role as a real Joker!
