Just watched it and I think it is pretty good. It is not completely new as T-800 and some robot tanks appeared in the previous movies already. However, it makes a good continuation of the previous three.
The story isn't very new either, only with a new introduction of Macrus Right which is a half-robot human. Christian Bale did a great job here while the supporting crew all did well too. There are a number of new robots, including the harvester and the transporters.
I think everything is executed well, step-by-step and clear. It also explains things from the past Terminator movies and also supports them as well, meaning that it is not all on its own doing crazy things without thinking about linking the previous successful films.
One may not think it is very good and I guess it is probably because of the coming Transformers movie and also of the fact that the story is not completely new and surprising. That may kill some appetite but with all the CG and sad future description, this movie is special in its own way. The aftermath is just saddening and the struggle between human and computers can really happen one day. The helplessness illustrated in Terminator Salvation actually make me think, what if that happens? Can humans beat the machines with just brains?
Generally a good movie and I think you should check it out. The movie is not an end to the sequel, but the first of a coming trilogy. In the next one, it will be more about Conner sending his father to the past, which is the story in Terminator 1. T1000, the liquid-metal terminator will come back.

I heard they are gonna follow up with the future side of all the previous 3 terminators, like what was going on in the future, or what led John to send the Terminator back in time etc...

Yes, there will be upcoming episodes, as Christian Bale signed for three Terminator movies already, with this one being the first.
The next movie will have T1000 (the liquid metal man) according to rumours, and the actor Robert Patrick who played this role before may say yes to this new Terminator. We'll see...

Don't you question why the Skynet lab was made as if human could come? If that is just a computer, it should just be a huge server or machine like those in Matrix, not like a polished, white and human-inhabited space!

Have you watched the previous movies? You should understand why.
John actually knew that that kid was his father. Later in the future (not in this movie, probably the next) John realized that Skynet couldn't beat them completely and invented the time machine, which allowed Skynet to send terminators back to the past to kill John's mum, so that John would not exist.
Knowing that, John stole (or invented himself maybe) the time machine and sent a guard to the past to protect his mother so that he could exist. In reality he failed and was killed by T800, but his wife at the same time managed to send that kid back to the future. That kid of course had no idea he was John's father, but only knowing that he had such a mission.
This goes back to the first Terminator movie. In case you haven't seen it, it talked about how that soldier (that kid John saved) went back to the future and saved John's mother. Again, the soldier did not know about anything in the relationship chart but only the mission, but in the end they made out one night, and that created the later John Conner.

From the previous movies till now, what i can understand so far is that there's terminator sent to kill john (when he was young) and now he grew up but why is his father a kid i have no idea still.

His father is a guy coming from the future. At the time his father was sent to the past, this father was around 25-30 already. John of course was older at that time, but when things went back to the past, John didn't exist.
